Amway Review

Hi guys,

Today I will review Amway Products. Amway is the leading family-owned consumer goods companies worldwide, selling more than 400 high-quality products in the categories beauty, wellness, and home care. The company was founded in 1959 in Ada, United States and operates in more than 100 countries.

I absolutely love these lip glosses they are my favorite. These have a really nice texture, it gives a fuller look. It has a peppermint taste ( i could literally just eat haha ).  These have a light up wand and a built in mirror which makes it easy to apply. I think these features really makes these lip glosses stand out more compared to any other that I have used in past.

 I also received this blush, it's a really soft peachy pink color which has good color pigmentation. It is a pretty light in color which is good for the everyday natural look. The brush that comes with this has very soft bristles which I really like.  

This is a very summery Palette called sunrise. However, I was not overly impressed by the eyeshadow quad. There was a lack of pigmentation with these colors.


Excluding the eyeshadow quad, I would definitely recommend the lip glosses and blush. Those would be totally worth the money. However, the packaging of these products was really admirable and elegant. The rich gold color really stands out.

Summer Collaboration

This tube was shipped nicely without any damage nor issues during shipment.  It was wrapped in a plastic bag and sealed tightly. The tube is white, and it is covered in a thick, clear plastic casing.

Review 

I really liked this product. From the natural ingredients to the packaging to the actual results. I was able to reduce the puffiness and dark circles. It also reduced puffiness was the real thing for me though. I’d give anything to hide some of the swellings in the morning. Along with my eyes, I use to apply on my forehead as well, to get rid of some fine lines. It really did help, even though yet i have only been using for almost 2 weeks.I'm going to continue with this to get even better results. If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask :) 

Top 10 Beauty Tricks

• Concealer should be applied right about 1/2 inch below the bottom lash line. Light reflects upward, so this will brighten dark circles.

• If you have oily skin and want to keep wrinkles away, use oil-free moisturizers that contain antioxidants. 

• Use a bit of foundation on your lips before applying your lipstick. It will help the color stay all day. 

• Liquid foundation can settle and separate, so always shake it before use. 

• Always apply your makeup in natural light to achieve a cleaner look 

• Use white eyeliner in your upper and lower lash lines, close to the lash line as possible. your eyes will appear larger and more alert.

• Zig-zagging the mascara wand back and forth during application helps cut down clumps.

• To revive dried up nail polish, add a few drops of polish remover.

Review

The sample size tub of this cream that I received from Bella Organics is about 0.25oz. It has an amazing smell to it, I would literally eat it if I could.. (lol) It's very minty, and this is a very simple and  easy to use. It's super good for your skin and a fantastic alternative to traditional deodorants which contain various chemicals and additives. This one is 100% Organic.

Sparse eyebrows? - SOLUTION

Have you got sparse eyebrows? Here's a very simple solution for it. Totally DIY than having to spend loads on various different products.
Well this is something I've always suggested to those complaining about the growth of eyebrow hair. I'm sure some of you people might have heard before - If not keep reading ;) (damn only if the emoji's worked)  anyhow It's so simple, you can probably start from today. All you need is  Castor oil - you can easily find this in shops here  in Dublin anyway.

Directions
 Rub some castor oil over your brows with a cotton bud or even with your finger if you desire , before bed & watch them grow back to life within a few weeks.  It also works just as great along the eyelash base for fuller lashes.

Which way do you wear your eyeliner?

There are various different ways when it comes to wearing eye-liner. Which one is your favourite? In this post I'm going to talk about 4 different ways that I have worn.

Straight eye-liner

Straight eye-liner is basically a straight line that doesn't vary in width at either end. I think I would best suit those with monolid eyes because of the shape of eyelid, although its also great for those who prefer a minimal make-up look.

 Wedge Eye-liner

Wedge eyeliner is classified as a liner thickness at the outer corner- to thinnest at the inner corner. it's great on almond shaped eyes.

 Winged “Cat” Eyeliner

Cat winged eyeliner is typically as thickest at the outer eye corner, but extending the natural corner in a triangular shape. Cat eyeliner would look great on round eyes, as it creates the illusion of elongation

 Arabic Liner

This liner lines the entire eye and extends not just the outer corner of the eye but the inner corner too. This look can help in drawing the attention to the inner corner of the eye, and make eyes look closer together. This liner would be great for those with wide eyes.

DIY: Makeup setting spray

As I love DIY, I came across another amazing recipe to make my make up last longer and wont melt down or having the need to make several touch ups during the day. Just had to share with you guys.

Of course there are a lot of different products in the market (setting spray etc.) that you can purchase, but that’s all always very pricey.

    So the most inexpensive way to survive the stickiest/hottest summer days is to make your own setting spray, which would last you much longer 6 weeks+ without having to use any type of parabens or preservatives.

 All you need is:

-          Rose water
-          Mineral water
-          Empty spray bottle
 Put 1/3 of the rose water and 2/3 of mineral bottle water into an empty bottle and SHAKE. Taa’daaaaa now you have your own setting spray or even a facial toner, + it smells AMAZING too

Top 5 November Beauty Favorites

Today is all about beauty and I wanted to share with you all of the beauty products I've been using and loving throughout November. If you didn't know, I am a bit of a makeup junkie. In another life I would be a makeup artist. I love reading beauty blogs and watching beauty vloggers on YouTube and I realized I haven't shared any beauty favorites at all, so i'm gonna write my top 5 favorites. Let me know if you guys have anything different that i could try =D 

1. Maybelline Volum’ Express The Rocket Mascara (€11.99) 

This stuff separates your lashes without giving them that horrifying Spider Snooki Clump Parade. The brush is workable around your lower lashes without sending you smearing it all over your face . It’s a pretty solid dupe for Benefit Great Lash  

2.  Rimmel Match Perfect Foundation (€9.99)
I saw this foundation in my local boots so I figured I'd try it out. After applying my moisturizer this foundation blends easily and I have found that it feels quite light on the skin, So if your looking for something for everyday use then this is it!  Its great, hides blemishes and any redness.

3.Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (€5.99)
If you have oily skin anywhere on your face, drop your best friend immediately and make this your NEW best friend.

4. Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes (€4.99 for 25) 
 if you’re gonna want to put makeup on, you gotta get that shit off. This stuff is amazing! It gets off waterproof mascara without burning your face off, which is a plus, . Seriously..if you have sensitive skin this is the best! 

5. Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo 400ml (€2.54)

First thing i noticed was that this shampoo really smells beautiful, just like an expensive high end one used at salons. This makes my hair so soft after use. I would totally recommend the conditioner to go with this aswell.

P.S you can easily get these at your local boots. 

DIY Facials for all skin types

Facial masks are great way to soothe, purify and detoxify your skin. while there are variety to different mud masks on the market, If an appointment at spa seems impossible or  quite expensive, grab some homemade ingredients and rejuvenate with DIY facials.

You might even be surprised to find many of the ingredients you’ll need for a homemade mud mask are sitting right in your pantry. A great mud mask will not only soothe your skin, but it will nourish it as well, while gently clearing the toxins from deep within your pores.

I’ve done a pretty extensive search online for the best homemade facial mask recipes, so you won’t have to!

Oily Skin

(Egg white mask)

Egg whites will tighten your pores, as it contains proteins that replenish the skin, and remove the excess oil making your skin acne free.

Separate the white and the yolk . Mix together, a lemon and egg white and blend it for a minute (otherwise the mixture will be unpleasant to apply). Apply the paste on a dry face and keep the paste for 15 minutes on your face. Once the mask gets dried, wash it off with Luke warm water.

Acne prone skin

(Green clay facial)

A green clay mask is the perfect recipe for you. The mask removes all the unwanted breakouts, by extracting all the impurities.

In a bowl, take 2tbsps of green clay powder and water. Mix a few drops of rosemary oil or rose water and form a thick paste. Apply the mask on your skin for 15 minutes. 

Pimple and excessive oily skin

(Aspirin mask)

If you aren’t allergic to aspirin, use this magic pill that will soothe your skin in no time. The acid present in the pill is a great anti-acne product. Crush the pill with the help of a spoon and a little water to make a paste. And if you want a thick consistency add a little bit of honey. Apply the paste on all over the face, for 10 minutes. 

Dry Skin

(Avocado Mask)

The oil in an avocado is a great moisturising agent. Mash half avocado until it forms a thick consistency. Mix a tsp of honey and rose water. You can also add some curd to smoothen the paste. Apply it on a dry face for 15 minutes and wash off. And, if your skin is extra dry, use olive oil instead of rose water.

Dull Skin

(Banana Mask)

Take two bananas and mash the bananas until it forms a paste. Add two Tbsps of honey for extra nourishment. Apply the mask for ten minutes, on a dry face. Before you remove the mask, massage your face for five minutes.

Glowing Skin

(Papaya Mask)

Papaya is a great cleansing agent, which makes it the best natural exfoliate. Peel the papaya and remove the seeds from it. Add half tsp of honey. In a blender, mix the paste. Apply on a clean face. Remove the paste after 20 minutes. Wash the mask completely; otherwise, your face may look a bit orange.

Tanned Skin

(Sea Salt and Lemon Paste)

Mix ¼ cup of sea salt, along with lemon juice. Apply the mask over a dry face. Close your eyes and enjoy the fruity flavour. Your tan will disappear in no time.

Moisturised Skin
(Oatmeal Mask)

Oatmeal is great exfoliating agent as it removes the dead cells completely. Mix 2 Tbsps of uncooked oatmeal, with 1 cup of milk in a pan. Boil the mixture on a low flame, until the oatmeal forms a thick paste. The lactic acid in the milk helps to brighten the skin. Apply the mixture for 20 minutes, and wash off. Your skin will feel soft and supple.

Sensitive Skin
(Yogurt Facial)

This is the best facial for a sensitive skin. Mix a cup of unflavoured yogurt, for a dry and clean skin. Apply the mask for 20 minutes. The acid in the yogurt will lighten your facial hair and follicles. If you have a sunburnt skin, you can mix a tsp of Aloe Vera gel, for a cooling effect.

Blemished Skin

(Pumpkin Facial)

Take two Tbsps of pumpkin puree and half tsp of honey, along with some fresh cream. I know it sounds a bit messy but once you obtain the results, you will be patient to bare the mess-up. Leave the paste for 10 minutes and pat dry.

DIY: Effective Home Remedies To Fight Hair Loss

Hey guys, today I'm gonna do a really quick post on effective home remedies to fight hair loss.Recently I've been noticing I've had ALOT of hair fall.Most of us complain about hair fall and various hair issues, but its in winter when our hair problems are at their worst. With the cold setting in and lack of moisture in the air, hair problems like dandruff, dryness, hair fall and scalp itchiness are very common.So here are few ways which can prevent all these hair problems.
Coconut milk 

Coconut milk has rich properties of nourishing hair tissues. It will help in effectively reducing hair loss.
• Scraps fresh coconut and grind the coconut scrapings in a blender.
• Squeeze the paste to extract coconut milk.
• Now apply this coconut milk extract generously on your hair and scalp and leave it on the hair for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Massage your scalp with the coconut milk.
• This will effectively help in preventing hair fall.
• Apply coconut milk on the scalp once every week to prevent hair fall.
• Boil fresh neem leaves in water until the water reduces to half its quantity.
• Cool this water and then wash your hair and scalp with this water mixture.
• Repeat this process once or twice a week regularly to prevent hair loss.

Hot Oil treatment
Using a hot oil treatment during winters is a great way to add nourishment to your hair and prevent hair fall. Apply some warm olive oil / coconut oil / Caster oil on the scalp and the hair strands. Leave it for about 1-2 hours. This should be done at least once a week to give you the desired result. (Caster oil itself is the BEST)

First of all, sorry for not posting much at all. I've been super busy lately didn't get enough time for blogging. Anyhow today i'm going to review Tiny Tea Tox (14 day).

I wanted to finish off my 14 days teatox before i could review, which is why it took me long. I did receive this for free however i'm not being paid or anything for this review. This is a really honest review as i don't want to mislead anyone into anything. So here is my experience of this tea.

Shipping:  I must say, shipping was super quick. I had gotten mine within 3 business days. 

Packaging: It's a pretty box with 3 x 14 teabags, 3 for everyday. This what the tea bag packaging looks like  

Smell: When I first opened the box, I found the aroma of the tea blend quite intense with a bit of bitterness. 

Taste: I was abit worried about the taste as i don't even like normal organic green tea but i must say i was actually surprised, it wasn't too strong at all basically all herbaliy (Is that even a word? haha). I had mine with hint of lemon juice & honey, which made it taste even better. 

Overall experience:

To be honest, i loved it! I would definitely recommend this, It has really help me clear up my acne (I don't have much - just when i'm on my time of the month. haha). It definitely improved my complexion & i do feel i have more energy than when i first started. It has also help me with bloating. Although i haven't lost any significant weight, which i'm not too surprised at. .  as we are all different, some would lose weight with this & some won't, but overall this is a healthy tea, give it a go if you need a cleanse.

Nivea BB Cream & Nivea tinted moisturiser review

Hi guys,

I wanted to do a very quick review on Nivea BB cream & tinted moisturiser. 

moisturiser 

 Okay so first talking about this Tinted moisturiser. I got this in 'Natural'.Its quite good for its price, i got this in Boots for €2.74 which was reduced from  €5.49 

Product description 

NIVEA® Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturising Day Cream Natural enriched with light-reflecting pigments, Vitamins & Hydra IQ: The formula with Vitamins helps even the skin tone, blends in well with skin and provides a radiant looking complexion.With special blend of light reflecting and colour pigments, the formula reduces the appearances of imperfections.Moisturises and helps to protect the skin from environmental influences that result in premature skin ageing with SPF8.

Review

This tinted moisturiser may not work for all skin types. I have fairly oily skin.  This tinted moisturiser feels a bit thick and isn't the most light-weight, but it does the trick for me. I apply it with either my clean hands or a flat top kabuki brush. It has light-medium coverage, but it buildable enough to do a decent job in covering hyperpigmentation and little break outs. It leaves the skin very moisturised, but not overly oily or greasy at all. 

I would say, make sure you blend it in really well and if you want the extra coverage, build up thin layers and wait for them to dry. If you use a large amount of product and don't blend it well, it can look a bit cakey.

Nivea BB Cream

I got this one in Boots for €4.24 which was reduced from €8.49
There were 2 shades, Light and Medium, I chose Light

Product description

Helps to protect the skin from sunlight induced environmental influences and premature ageing with SPF 10.

Review

I had read a few reviews about this product before, good & bad so thought i'd give it a try myself. Since i got the shade light i thought it might be too light on my pale/tanned skin however it wasn't too bad at all. Its good to cover blemishes etc.  but definitely doesn't give the glow. If you have red high coloured cheeks then this would be perfect for you. Its not too orangish at all   gave me a very natural no makeup look. So instead of using my foundation i use this BB cream with  Collection long lasting perfection ultimate wear powder, which gives a very nice natural look perfect for everyday.
